Warwickshire Weddings

Wedding celebrant in Warwickshire

Warwickshire is full of the kind of places that deserve a proper ceremony: barns, walled gardens, woodland clearings, country houses and back lawns with a marquee up. I travel across the county writing and leading non-religious ceremonies for couples who want something entirely their own.

No fixed script, no religion unless you ask for it, no rushing you through so the next booking can start. Just your story, told well, by someone who has actually listened to it.

Outdoor ceremonies, done properly

Outdoor weddings are brilliant and they have their own practicalities. Wind eats voices, so I bring a plan for sound. Sun moves, so we think about where your guests will be looking. Rain happens, so we agree a plan B before the week of the wedding rather than during it.

None of that is your problem on the day. That's the point of hiring someone who has done a lot of these.

Small weddings and elopements

Some of my favourite ceremonies have had under ten guests. An elopement doesn't mean a stripped-back, five-minute affair. It usually means more space for the words to land, and a lot less noise around them.

If you're planning something tiny in the Warwickshire countryside, I'll write you something as considered as any hundred-guest ceremony.

Working with your venue and suppliers

I'll speak to your venue coordinator, your photographer and your musicians in advance so everyone knows the running order. Photographers in particular appreciate knowing when the kiss, the rings and the recessional are landing.

You get a clear timeline in writing, and I keep a copy of your ceremony script for anyone who needs it.
